Why live locally?

This blog all came to be from a sense of urgency that I felt about helping small businesses. In a community that is growing too fast, I have seen great family owned business struggle and close down. In an effort to spread the awareness of all of the great eclectic local venues in the Dallas area I decided to start writing about them. I hope that you enjoy and decide to take a visit to some of these places soon!

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema-Richardson

There's a new cinema in town! The Alamo Drafthouse just opened up it's first DFW cinema at Beltline and HWY 75 in Richardson. This is a Austin based movie theatre chain has a small number of screens and relies on proper movie etiquette. They have a strong no phone policy and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Alamo Drafthouse also provides local organic food and beer from nearby breweries. My husband and I are going to check it out this weekend, you should too!!!
