This weekend is one of my favorite festivals, one because it's free and two you can support your local artists! The Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson is a two day outdoor festival that showcases a variety of artists from painters to metalworks to jewelry made out of old coins. This festival has it all and then some! Be sure to check out their hours of operation for Saturday and Sunday. They have great food, fun for the kids and live entertainment. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and it will be a nice weekend to visit!
